A Good Game If You Play Evil
My only advice whilst playing this game, is to not try and please all the different sides and playing the Paladin type. If you try to be completely good, you will end up running around doing boring fetch-quests for hours. Don't be bashful, slaughter all of the good goblins, trolls, humans, etc. WHATEVER YOU DO, MAKE ONE OF THE RACES ANGRY SO THAT YOU AREN'T BORED FOR THE FIRST 8 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY.

Great ideas - terrible execution
It wanted to be Ultima Underworld 3 and it brought some great ideas with it, unfortunately the execution is abysmal. The worst offender are the controls. You'll get used to the complicated switching back and forth between two modes with the right mouse button (movement and interaction mode) but the magic system breaks the game: you cast by pressing control on your keyboard and drawing runes while holding said button. For the love of God some of these runes would just not register! I can overlook the somewhat dated graphics (weren't back for 2002 standard) with the low polygon count since the atmosphere is pretty good but the controls are simly unforgivable and completely ruin what could have been a solid 5-star dungeon crawler!

Unplayable
The game suffers of huge frame drops when you open your stats book, it gets slighty better the lower the resultion yet the frame dip is still noticeable. As far as I'm concern there are no fixes for this issue and there probably won't be one.

Seems like fun; wish it would run
This game seems quite interesting and challenging, I just wish it would run. Saying this game is "optimized" to run on Vista is something of an exaggeration. First, save games wouldn't load. So, I tried running the game as administrator. Now, sometimes save games would load and sometimes not; not much of an improvement. Also, the game crashes to desk top randomly. Finally, I just wrote it off as a bad deal and uninstalled it. Maybe I'll try the Xbox version.
