GOG.com seeks talented Junior Software Engineers to join one of our cross-functional product squads responsible for developing core services for the GOG ecosystem. Work hand in hand with our sister company, CD PROJEKT RED and other AAA game developers on delivering best online gaming experiences that reach millions of gamers.


  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve data integration pipeline.
  • Create microservices in Python.
  • Develop Python, PySpark scripts to filter/cleanse/map/aggregate data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data and business processes.
  • Work closely with Data Analysts.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Python and common python libraries (including Flask).
  • Experience in APIs and web-service integration.
  • Experience in handling MySQL databases and query/table optimisations.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design.
  • Familiar with source control systems and deployment processes (git, git-flow, CI).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to easily communicate in English.


  • Experience and/or interest in Big Data technologies.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark.
  • Knowledge of Java or Scala.
  • Experience with work in an agile environment.
  • Passion for gaming, game services, and online communities.
