Version number of games displayed on gamecard
Definitely! That way people will know before they buy, and it would cut down on the amount of times questions about versions are asked in the forums.
I agree with this entirely. It needs to be somewhere regardless. Why does GOG mess with this 1.0.0.0 nonsense in the first place?
This would be especially good for something like Fallout, since people would know it's the censored UK edition(Although it can be patched to remove the censor).
@Tychoxi: while not the same wish, both wishes (hopefully) handle the game version (and not only the GOG internal version)
@shaddim, that's not exactly the same (though most people are confused by it too). This wish is about telling us what version of the game was used for release (So if game X started as v1.0, then got patched to v1.1 and eventually to v1.3c, it'd be cool to know if the GOG version was spawned from v1.0 or 1.3c or whatever). The wish you are linking to is about the version not of the game itself but of the GOG installer.
It would be great to have to last bit of the version number (4th section) displayed.

Symphony, is a good example. In my 'shelf' it displays as 1.0.0, while actually downloading it, the setup says 1.0.0.7. And it looks like Empty Clip is still actively updating the game, so this is something that needs to be here, for newer releases at least.
This is important information in some cases. So, yes, please show us the game version.
Yes, agreed! The missing of such an fundametal feature irritates me also heavily. There are many cases were this is a crucial information.
