Native Linux GOG client(Give it a retro name, like Arcade or something)

I would like to see a Native Linux GOG Client. It would be a platform for Launching your GOG games under linux and handle all emulation (if neccessary). In short a Replica of the steam client for Linux with emulation features to facilitate Windows games on Linux. .(btw Valve is already in beta testing for their Linux native client).

And open-source the basic client while at it! This way every Linux distribution on every possible hardware architecture would be able to run it. Add a license that makes it open source but restricts its use to GOG and GOG alone, if you think you must. But FOSS is key to Linux. The shop would be a web page anyhow, which leaves the games in a users account and their installation being open sourced....

Well, "Galaxy" is kind of retro-sounding (reminds me of Galaga), and is confirmed to be coming!

I mean how hard is it to bookmark the gog store page. make a folder on your desktop. name the folder "gog client" fill it with shortcuts to all your gog games and your shortcut to the gog bookmark. bam all your stuff in one easy to manage place.
