Do not discriminate users who prefer offline installers to galaxy versions of your games!

During the last weeks (months?) several times gog has made patches/updates for games available to galaxy users much earlier than to customers who do not want to use galaxy and only use the offline installers to play their games.

Games where patches have recently been made available first on steam (unfortunately we are used to that) and then for galaxy users are "Thea 2" and "Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes". Now, days/weeks later, we are still waiting for updated offline installers and that really sucks!

I request from gog that patches/updates for offline installers are at least published at the same time (and much earlier as usual too because gog is notorious for being late when it comes to publishing new updates of games already available on other platforms for a long time)!

gog does not always make patches available, requiring a complete reinstall. they should improve that.

I never heard of this issue before, but if this is really true, I kindly ask that Gog help us so that this isn't a problem anymore. So far I have had an amazingly good experience with Gog support so I know they really care about us. I hope they will see this and check what's going on. Thank you and have a nice day.

Yes, please put a process in place which ensures that games that get updated for Galaxy have work put in queue for someone to update the standalone installers for said games, or a patch. Please automate this in some fashion so that game installers/patches do not get lost in the cracks in the future. This is very frustrating.

Went out of my way to log in and vote for this. This has been a concern of mine since joining (June 2017). I shop at GOG because it is the only place I can get DRM-free bigger titles. Without GOG I would not be PC gaming. It is already grating to be treated as a second class gamer by the general PC market (which loooooves Steam), but it is maybe even worse for us old school minded folks to be treated like second class gamers here. I can understand a 24, maybe even 48 hour delay. But to have such overwhelming focus on the client and not know whether or not the offline installers are up to date, is, well, very grating.
