Cusith Some of us have issues with the Steam client full stop buying anything on Steam is not an option no matter if the final download from there is DRM free or can be made so.
dizzy_plays GOG must bring the X series here, wtf!! :(
You can already just get X3:AP on Steam, get the no Steam executable from the Egosoft site and copy the Steam download location anywhere else, copy the no-steam exe and run it from there. No need for Steam after that. Perfect DRM free copy.
You guys should definitely check out Litcube's Universe mod for X3:AP, it's what X4 should have been.

the last one had 7 diff asteroids for sil and ore..
And was continously everything from start to end..

Ofc i bought the eone that was auctionable..
but dragging all those asteroids back there was kinda...impossible ?
- can't tow asteroids through gates..
(maybe they fixed that..so you can use only the best asteroids around for prodcution..)
The easiest way to make cash is to get Sil==>convert to crystals==>convert to energy..set lowest price and keep selling..(it always sells..)

if the surplus of energy gets to great..well..then you can start selling crystals too..but better is advanced produce..(weapons..)they sell for a lot..and take up lil space on fast transports..(unless you wanna produce GPP's..then again..since they sell for half a million a piece..it's worth the time i guess..)
ZMacZ that would make it run without having the steam client open and running (and subsequently causing trouble..)

StarSword On the other hand, ES have released the rest of the series from other sources as well, so I suppose this isn't a stretch.
StarSword There's already a no-Steam executable available on request from the Egosoft website.
