Everystar My all time favourite game!!! I own it but my pc with XP puked, and it won't play on my Vista, 7 or 8 pc's :(

Rarilmar I just installed the original game + patch 1.24 and it works on win7. Not only it works but I can use 1920x1080 resolution lol. Only played like 10min dunno if it has other problems.

Crusader_bin Great game. Only rly bad thing is the very silent and empty world, but character generation and progression makes up for this (a bit) and mods to speed up combat make it quite playable too ;)

Miau I own genuine CDs, yet there is no way to run it on windows 7 - and I tried everything. This game is so painfully obscure, it's just impossible to find it. It was such an amazing game, I really hope to see it here one day. It'd literally be my only chance to play it again.
Gadzooks There is no where else to get this game. No one is selling it anymore. Not even old copies on ebay. GoG is the last resort!!
benedikt wizardry 7 and 8 are my favorite games - Wiz7 has imho better atmosphere and also great class switching feature, Wiz8 has imho better combat, best dialogue system i ever saw and (due to the simple facts of skillups being announced via messages) also more fun char advancement as a process

EHCB I found this game for £1 at my local CEX last year... and let it slip through my fingers, I'd never heard of the series before. Then I started Following Brenda Romero on twitter. She's great. I really want to play this now :(
Export Though I've been familiar with the Wizardry name for as long as I can remember, I've never actually seen, let alone played, any of the games. I recently started reading about them after getting into the Might and Magic series and it sounds like GOG would be a far richer site if it had this game in its catalogue.

fool1977 This game was solid. I lost one of my install disks and so a GOG version would be sweet. W8 was arguably the last "old school" cRPG made, in that it was relatively complex, and did not hold your hand. I pine for old school games that drop you off in a different world and leave it up to you to figure things out. Dark Savant was even better in that regard.
Jefklak I really wish this game will get published very soon at GOG. It will give me another reason to reinstall everything and play it again!

Kean_144 Excellent follow up to Wizardry VII, main I wish there was a Kick Starter for Wizardry but only the Sir-Tech versions the Japanese games are garbage in comparison.

Vedian Wizardry 8 is just one of those games where everything just stands out. It is really one of the best classic turn-based/strategy CRPG. I spent hours after hours at the party/character creation screens, and have yet to find a combat system mixing so perfectly strategy and fun in a CRPG. Although I'm one of those lucky guy owning the game, it should definitely be amongst GoG's gems.
Hemaka I guess it's currently abandonware but some Japanese guys are creating Wizardry mmo. But still- this eastern mmo has nothing to do with old, one of the best RPG's I've ever played. Hope that someday it'll be available here and we can enjoy THE GAME once again :) I'd buy it within seconds from publishing :)

Owozifa I think this is one computer RPG that really needs a revival. It's a shame it gets forgotten in the wake of games like Morrowind.

jfunk825 I would kill to get all the old Wizardry games on GOG. I think I still have my Archives collection and copy of 8 in the attic somewhere, but I'm too lazy to go through the gyrations of getting these things to run on Win7 myself.
jrschumaker A couple of weeks ago I got the itch to play "Crusaders of the Dark Savant" again, got out the disk, and discovered that my fabulous 64-bit Win 7 wouldn't install it. I'd love to try Wizardry 8!

pahirate Wizardry 8 was one of my staple games growing up, along with other RPG gems such as "Betrayal in Antara" and "Icewind Dale"; and out of those 3, Wizardry 8 stands out as the game that defined the genre for me.
Balgin It would be absolutely wonderful to have a good old fashioned turn based party game such as Wizardry 8. In addition the voice acting (whilst not of rgeat quality) simply espoused so much character that the game became lovable for it in the end. It would be nice to see some more turn based games appearing on Gog too.
