jvwcat Titan Outpost is an isometric, single-player role-playing game set on Titan, the sixth moon of the planet Saturn. Humanity is engulfed in an energy crisis and you are there to harvest the moon’s precious resources and uncover its mysteries.
There is very little combat in the game. Titan itself is your biggest enemy and your character will need to use a variety of skills to handle missions. In an atmosphere so uninvitingly cold that methane is a liquid, every choice matters and every step counts.
- The PICA character system features four attributes -Physical, Intelligence, Charisma and Awarenss- and six skills, ranging from science to exploration.
- Branching storylines and multiple quest solutions.
- Discrete time system, where every passing second determines unfolding events and the game world continues while your character sleeps.
- Logistical elements , think original Dune adventure meets the strategic layer of X-com.
- A rich backstory with a combination of realistic science-fiction and cold war tension.
- Over twenty locations, a hundred if you count all the lakes.
- Build and expand your base, it’s not called Titan Outpost for nothing.
- Research exciting new technologies, ranging from new ways to keep warm, generating more power or making Titan ever so slightly more like Earth.
- Multiple factions: You can decide to join the Chinese, work for independent contractors or stay loyal to your employer.

This is not even that indie-cheap-1-person-team looking, so it would look nicely on the store.
There is no potential loss. Revenue will appear sooner or later - the game is focused and unique enough, to have really "long legs".
Additionally, the devs could really use a hand in spreading their game - Steam's algorithm just swallowed it, and nobody saw Titan Outpost since (Im tracking the game since the release - I would like to make a similar game one day).
This is a real pity, as it seriously deserves at least a certain level of recognition. It's a high quality product.

GOG is my dedicated store, I would really want to own and play Titan Quest, and Im completely unable to do so. I find myself searching the game each two months or so, and I'm always heavily disappointed as it's still not here :(

squid830 Seriously, I don't understand how this game is supposedly "too niche" for GOG. There are WAY more niche things on GOG, including a ton of really awful interactive novel type things (not saying all IF type games are bad - but there are definitely a lot of bad ones on here).
While this game was buggy AF at launch, it's shaped up quite well. It's a proper RPG, yet it has no "real" combat (similar to Disco Eleysium, but diff mechanics), yet you can still kill a lot of people (if you want).
It has many different paths through the game, leading to a number of different endings. So it has C&C + replayability, an interesting take on stats, and most importantly (but possibly why it's "too niche") - it's one of the very few games (let alone RPG games) that's actually HARD SCI-FI (as opposed to the usual, which is either fantasy with lasers, or modern times a bit in the future, or post-apoc, and generally all of them are only vaguely based on any kind of actual science or reality).
The reason I know all this is because unfortunately I thought it was interesting enough to buy on that other platform (one of only TWO games on that platform I might add). So put it here already, what have you got to lose?
skdursh I want this too. CDPR has let games that are actually giant piles of rotting garbage on GOG so the least they could do is toss us a bone and give us something with some heart once in a while. MAKE IT HAPPEN GOG.
ksj8ak2 Seconded. This seems to scratch a lot of my itches. Not only does it look rather beautiful (3D models and environment) and seems to have great voice acting, but it also seems to provide for a rather believable setting, and lots of ways to creatively tackle challenges with my chars abilities from survial, research and exploration to base building, commerce and politics. There is a 45 minute gameplay video created by the developer on Youtube.
