GrzechuGrek Time for give up any dreams about GOG version of Skyrim. Since Microsoft took over Bethesda, I lost all hope for that will ever happen. :(

Waldschatten Once again, as this shows back up at the top of the list, I remind people that the Legendary Edition is far superior to the Special Edition on PC. <br /> <br /> If this releases please do so as Legendary, or at least include it as a "goodie" with the purchase, because the Special Edition had improvments for consoles and broke things on PC.
jlibster I'd buy Skyrim here. I already have most of the Elder scrolls GOTY packages.
streetyson It took Oblivion (GOTY edition, 2007) 10yrs to reach GOG, so Skyrim (LE edition, 2013) could well be here but it might take a few years more. The LE edition makes most sense for GOG players and one would expect is more likely to be made available than the SE version. One can hope, anyway...

jsendon1975 I thought Skyrim's chances of coming to GOG went up in smoke when MS bought Zenimax; however, the arrival of The Outer Worlds (from Obsidian... another game developer under the MS umbrella) at GOG served to prove me wrong. Well, at least we can hope again.
T-Zone1 @Djaron I respectfully disagree. Steam and Valve were the main reasons why Skyrim became a Steam exclusive. Without Valve now powerless, GOG might want to extend an invitation to MS to host Skyrim here in addition to Steam. There are a lot of us who don't like Steam's 3rd party "babysitter" app. <br /> I can understand having a launcher for online games, but not for games that can only be played offline.

ChrisOzzie I somehow doubt Bethesda would let Skyrim be DRM free, but if GoG pulls off a miracle... PLEEZ bring Legendary Edition. I'd predict most sales would be from Legendary Edition and not Special Edition.

marie_curie78 I don't think this will happen quickly given how much hype there still is about Skyrim, but if it lands in GOG store at some point, I'd consider buying it. It's one of the few games which keeps me on Steam.
Norodomo Skyrim Legendary Edition will be better, this one run even in intel hd graphics and will be buyed by a lot of people, who want to have one more DRM-free elder scroll game!

neosapian since Steam is neglectful of fixes on lots of games and that DRM thing I would like to see it too. it would have to be "abandonware" for that to happen as it is, as Mass Effect and Dragon Age, owned by a DRM rights activist!

LeLorrain I have the Steam version and all DLC's + Mods on Windows/10, but I hate both paying on Windows & Steam, also I plaid it for almost 600 hours! I dream of a DRM version on Linux coming to GoG. Please, make it happens while I still can play games (I'm 75 now!)
