nycsmile Shivers and Shivers 2 are my favorites! I also know the game appeals to young people as my 14 year old nephew played the hell out of them and loved them 13 years after they were released.

Hecatomb84 This was a wonderful little horror game put out by Sierra in 1995. Little known even then, but with a wonderfully atmospheric setting in a haunted museum dedicated to the paranormal. And the numerous music tracks were fantastic. Would love to be able to play this game again and let those who missed it experience it for the first time!

Draclvr Oh, yes, PLEASE! Shivers 1 is 16 bit, so no amount of tweaking will get it working. ScumVM is the only way... Would LOVE to see it here on GOG!

DinkyDinkster Absolutely loved this game. The only bad part was that stupid chinese checker puzzle (c'mon seriously who actually finished that without a guide!), the sounds are still brilliant. Not too confident about the graphics though (Ixupi's look like bad clipart now), but this game never ceases to be scary.
With most horror games when something is about to jump out at you, it's scary the first time, then you know it and doesn't scare you again. With Shivers, you know what's coming and it scares you every time. The Ixupi's are the toasters of horror.
FFrog1 Shivers 1 is available from oldgames.com and works fine.
Shivers 2 is also available and works fine until the end game and is looking to have CD-2 inserted and hangs up. This is version 1 and it is a known problem which was supposedly corrected in version 2.
Meanwhile I continue to check GOG weekly so I can purchase S-2.

Fonsia I just can't understand why this game isn't on GOG with all the other Sierra games you have. This is a major horror classic! And the graphics still look good! Much better than 7th Guest, which you sell all the time! Get Shivers onto GOG! NEED!! WANT!!

Giman All Sierra games should be available for download. SIerra were the founders of the gaming revolution combining film footage and animation to pull the gamer into the plot was genius. Rich with unexpected imagry, twists and turns, The riddles and clues were masterful. Please make this games come back to life again!

tigress_kitten I would gladly pay (TWICE!) for this game on GOG. Messing around with tech to make it compatible to my machine (and my son's) is not something I want to start doing, especially without a guarantee it'll run.
With GOG, I *know* it will run.
Please fix our cravings - you've got a lot of people wishing for Shivers on GOG! :-)
Nadious I installed a VM of Windows 98 just so I could play this game. (Still own the original disc!) It's pain in the butt. I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have this as part of my GOG catalog so I could play it on a modern day machine. Please, GOG. You gotta find a way to make it happen. :D

Ravynedoom Shivers has always had a special place in my heart. it was my first horror puzzle game and the first video game I ever played with my mom, sadly we never finished it and I made a vow to try and find a copy someday so we could. so I will definitely pay alot to get the chance to play again.

TheWanderer1990 I remember this game from my childhood, i was absolutely addicted to games like myst, return to zork and i loved the 7th guest and the 11th hour after watching my mum play the 7th guest. i remember finding this my dads game collection and playing it. i also remember NEVER getting into the museum and giving up after a while. i would buy this in a heartbeat! it would be nice to revisit the museum and unlock the secrets i failed to uncover as a kid.
