ErmacRulez I have re1 hd remaster on steam so not interested much about it BUT i will definitely buy re2 and re3 nemesis on day1. <br /> (I lost count how many times i played re3 nemesis in the past, i loved so much that game me and my friends.) re 3 remake though... Yikes :p

Blackinator-X There is no patch for RE3 really and Classic Rebirth is only for the Japanese versions of the games. The original versions do have patches also. The RE3 patch is pretty laughable in my opinion since it doesn't do anything but add in the Sourcenext cutscenes. I think these games will sell well because: <br /> <br /> 1. not a lot of people know there is a PC port for these games. <br /> <br /> 2. Capcom only produced a limited amount of copies for each game making them some of the rarest games on PC. <br /> <br /> 3. The Japanese PC ports are even harder to find and the majority of people who play the Japnese versions pirate them <br /> <br /> 4. I know a lot of fans who are willing to play the originals but don't have a PS1 or any of the consoles the game was ported to, so making the originals on PC available for purchase and updating the games so that modern systems can just launch the games no problems. <br /> The source code might be lost but that's not hard to recover anyways. They can just contact the dev of Classic REBirth and use the source code from 1 and 2. I would love if they would re-release <br /> the original but the way that Capcom is now is very unlikely to see one. The new devs recently stated that the original RE2 is no longer canon and the remake is now officially "canon". Modern-day Capcom probably just want to forget the projects that their former employees worked on and start remaking them and bringing them to a new audience, <br />

Cla01 I think the issue is that the community has already created a path for resident evil 1,2 and 3 and there is an upcoming patch for dino crisis 1 and 2, so if capcom do a patch now, the games are probably not gonna sell that well, because there is a free option out there, as for code veronica, the game never recive a pc port which now means a lot of work to port the game and probably is not feasible, besides is not like just fixing the games there is a lot of legal problems as well and there is the problem with the original code which is probably lost by now, I will love to have a way to buy the original games but the reality is that it needs work and money to do it right not just make them run, my opinion of course, but hey! maybe capcom will eventually do it.

Ninonessa Still nothing. I'm beginning to believe that the real problem is in CAPCOM. They just hate PC and can't stand the thought of putting those classics to GOG - only consoles. If you watch closely some time ago they re-release Code Veronica for all (modern) consoles, except PC. Now that tells something. Such a shame <br />
ebamf91 for the record, RE2+3 and Dino Crisis 1+2 are available on PS3 and handhelds, so no reason not to have them on PC as well.

seanwood7777 I'm incredibly surprised that the original Resident Evil trilogy isn't on Steam or GoG, considering they already have PC ports, and just need a bit of patching. Also Dino Crisis 1 & 2, and Breath of Fire 4, they all have PC ports! Just patch them and bring them to PC storefronts, please, Capcom.
