i have been trying to get my old Swedish version running for years but no dice. would 100% buy if it shows up on GoG
plantpaladin The best adventure game I played. Breaking up the monotomy of normal searching for keys with some minigames and a story that is a perfect excuse to explore the building of a pyramid.
fraggelnos Adding to the list of people that would've loved to play this game again. I would buy it the moment it comes out if I only had a chance. I, as several others, has tried to get old versions going, but to no avail.
augh My World History teacher in 7th grade had this game in her classroom. She had 2 Mac computers, and she got a PC just for this game. She showed us how to play it, and it looked like so much fun. I never got a chance to play it because everyone loved it.
matteste Seriously, if this becomes a reality then I hope they include several language options. I have so many fond memories of playing the Swedish version from my youth.
NobodyEpic I remember spending houers on this game as a kid, dont remember if i actually finished the game or not. Have been trying to find a way to play this game again but have had no sucses. Would buy this instantly if it ever would come up on this site.
aerendyll Gah, I've been trying so hard to make my CD-ROM version of this game work without success... Curse you, 64-bit OS! :( If GOG can manage to release this game compatible with 64-bit OSes I'll gladly buy it again!
amapolas And it had the senet game, which you could continue to play at any time for years and years. At least until your old computer died and you couldn't launch it in the new one with Windows 7. :( I'd love to have this game again. Especially for the little ones in the family.

Players are transported back to the time when Pharaoh's ruled. The scenes and the music are well crafted allowing the player to sense what life was like so many years ago. There are tasks to achieve using the knowledge and tools of the era, and with each achievement the player is brought one step closer to pharaoh himself.
Recommended Age: 10 and Up It was one of those rare cases of a FUN educational videogame. Its game mechanics were mostly point and click adventure and puzzle solving, but it also had some elements that could be considered sandbox RPG, like making as much beer or papyrus as we wanted and selling it, buying a certain magic potion or having our quest log actualize with new facts on egyptology.
The game was fully voiced and in many languages. I know there was at least English, Spanish (which I would be interested in), Dutch, German...
