Papo & Yo
yes, please
This would be an instant buy for me. Played it on PS3 a few years ago and would love to have it in my GOG library.
JUST-DO-IT!
Available for Windows, Linux & OS X.
It doesn't make sense that this isn't on GOG, it's available drm-free elsewhere. Get it on GOG :-)
This is a MUST-Have for GoG.com!!! This game fits exactly in the indie game library, and I think Vanders game, about the demon alcohol, would be a great add, for great GoG.com!!! Also, its an indie- masterpiece, that also bring us a kinda taboo-themed thing into indies. PLEASE!!!
This is available drm-free at humble store. It seems like it'd be a great fit for GOG if a deal could be negotiated.
This game was fantastic. I don't understand why there hasn't been much more hype about it. It reminds me of a Team Ico project. It has interesting gameplay mechanics, smooth controls, and a blend of intriguing visuals and music forming a unique urban environment. Bring it to GOG!
Currently you can buy this on Desura but not play it without Steam. On that evidence I wouldn't bet on enlightenment coming soon, but you never know...
Wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papo_%26_Yo
From Wikipedia: "Papo & Yo (roughly translated "Father and I") is a fantasy adventure video game, released on August 14, 2012 on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) via the PlayStation Network (PSN) and since April 18, 2013 on Microsoft Windows through Steam. The game involves a young Brazilian boy Quico who, while hiding from his abusive, alcoholic father, finds himself taken to a dream-like favela, and meeting a normally docile creature, Monster. The player, as Quico, can interact with Monster and manipulate the buildings of the favela in unique ways, such as by stacking individual shacks on each other, to complete puzzles and progress in the game. Papo & Yo was designed by Vander Caballero, who created the story based on his own past in dealing with an abusive, alcoholic father."
