This game was the dark souls of lander / VTOL simulations. You started messing up your controls horrible but ended up replaying it and breezing through the missions through your own personal mastery of the mechanics.

Sadly, neither Psygnosis or Studio Liverpool is no more. Or have any relationship with Sony as an entity, who is probably the ones who own the license after they absorbed the Psygnosis label. And Sony is without a doubt unwilling to do anything whatsoever to untangle and sell that license. Or if they thought there were any money in it, they would use it themselves to release a software-accelerated junk-version after forcing someone to finish a ps1 version, or something like that. So probably another extremely unlikely release, along with Grim Fandango/lucasarts releases, Segasoft releases, etc. And even if it was possible to do, the glide accelerated version has lighting effects that the d3d version didn't have, making it a bit less appealing without some serious work on it (was a lot of custom work on the glide library - not sure it's easy to port) - which I'm pretty sure no one from Psygnosis or SL would be willing to do, or maybe even able to do. So not a very likely release. Still - would be a fantastic release if it turned up with a rewritten 3d engine for the lighting effects, higher resolution, and so on.
