I love the Monkey Island games, but had no chance to get escape or curse, and since they are expensive to get off other sites, There should be a download version.

This wish is completed and is now available on GOG.com

@JessieWessie: For Curse of Monkey Island, it's REALLY easy to get it working on modern Windows using ScummVM and it works perfectly...

All you have to do is install ScummVM... scummvm.org/downloads/

...copy the requisite data files off your CDs... wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Datafiles#Curse_of_Monkey_Island.2C_The

...and then launch ScummVM, click the "Add Game..." button, and choose the folder you put them into. It'll automatically identify the game and set reasonable defaults.

(And, with ScummVM, you have the option of using a nice scaler like HQ2x to upscale the game for your modern monitor. That's what I do.)

ScummVM is actually what GOG uses for some releases.

The ScummVM crew are also working on something called ResidualVM for the GrimE engine, but they only got Escape from Monkey Island completable after they released version 0.2.1 so, if you don't want to wait, you'll need to use the "don't blame us if it crashes" daily development builds:

I have the disk for curse of monkey island but it won't work on my pc because it's for windows 95 and I have 7! I would love to play this game again!
