PlausibleSarge BFG Edition is available, but unfortunately the original is only available on Steam. The original is vastly superior in many ways according to many die-hard fans, and the BFG edition is largely considered to have serious problems, all the way from performance degradation all the way up to censorship and a version of Doom 1 and 2 that is not authentic. Most importantly, the BFG edition has no Linux or Mac support, whereas the original game had versions available for both platforms.

RedRabbitRun According to the GOG Doom 3 store page, the game now includes both the BFG Edition *AND* the original version (including Resurrection of Evil). I've no idea when this was added (and I've not tested it yet), but if true, this should now be marked as fulfilled.
seanwood7777 Apparently the original version of Doom 3 is still on Steam, why not have it on here too? As an optional download with the BFG edition? BFG edition smelly.

Humble_B I still have the original version boxed and have been tempted to grab a copy of the original Resurrection of Evil for years, but I would much rather have a DRM-free copy via GOG.
I'm holding off on buying the BFG edition until the original is available.
