Its ok. Its a bit grindy and there seems to be only a few spooky moments out at sea. The daylight portions of the game are ruining the tension. The nighttime portions are by far the best. The passive nets seem to mostly eliminate the need to fish so then its just resource acquisition.

This game is very big. I will give it that. There is easily 200 hours of content here, maybe more? I will never know though, because I dont want to play them. Its not 200 good hours. This is like a 40 hour game that they dragged out to be 200 hours of tedium. A lot of running back and forth, fetching things, endless dialogue that goes nowhere, struggling with inventory management, etc. This game has a ton of bugs too, a full 5 years after release. I saw 250 game of the year awards and expected it to be flawless. Nope. This game has a ton of experience ruining bugs EVERYWHERE. I will give you a sample of them: -The final boss second from the end just froze solid like a statue and did nothing the entire fight. -The mission to kill the king bugged out and didnt start the next mission in the series. As such it became impossible to kill him and ruined the ending of the game. -Its impossible to cast both forms of your signs without modifiying the game files. This bug as been in the game for 5 years at least without being fixed because I found a 5 year old fix in the forums. -Monsters sometimes dont create a body when they die, making items unlootable. This includes important quest monsters that took 20 staight minutes to defeat. You have to reload an earlier save and try again. Gwent was so annoying too. Gwent is hot garbage. Whoever has the best cards wins. Its impossible to just go buy a good deck of cards; you have to very slowly win them one at a time completely at random. Now you might think "who cares? Just dont play Gwent." But the game gives you no choice! It keeps coming up over and over in the main story. People will literally die if you dont have a good deck. They just ram this hot garbage down your throat and make you eat it. Its not a bad game but not great either. I just wish the game would get out of my way and let me have fun. Witcher 3 really lowered my expectations for Cyberpunk.
