Very reminiscent of Quake with a fantasy horror twist. Your "pistol" is a staff that shoots homing projectiles, your "shotgun" is a sword that shoots waves of energy, and your "rocket launcher" is a staff that shoots PLANETS (Earth included). It can be a bit no frills. There's no inventory management aside from juggling your arsenal and you immediately use any pickups. I, for one, don't mind simplicity so long as the core game is well designed, and it is. It's also a tough SOB, even on easy, but not unfairly so. They included cheat codes in the main menu if you find the game a bit too difficult, and loading your last save when you die is lightning fast. The graphics for the most part are damn good. The enemies are a bit janky looking up close, but they are well animated, and it's always easy to tell when they die. Plus their deaths are based on the weaqpon you used.
