For me this is quite an enjoyable game! I didn't experience any performance issues with my 2 year old GTX770 and the game seems to run smooth enough. This is a nice game to play while in a relaxed mood, and you tend stay that way! This is not a fast paced game full of action moments (at lest not so far in my quest), so that might be disappointing to some. My recommendation is that you shouldn't try to move too quickly (with ship upgrades and everything) and instead take the time to enjoy the journey instead (i.e appreciate the scenery). Some planets are nicer than others, but if you don't like exploring any given one you can simply fly away and find a better alternative. I am a flight sim addict and one thing that did disappoint me a bit was the simplistic way the ship is controlled. For instance you can't crash your ship on the terrain, as the ship keeps trying to avoid obstacles. To aid immersion, it would be nice to have a more realistic option to control your ship, and even better to also have native joystick support on the PC.
