I have lost track of saving the game and then dying moments later and restarting the game only to die again, even though I saved the game 30-40 seconds before I died. Some of the talents, like pick pocket are literally useless too.

Played this on my phone (before they abruptly removed it from App Store, stealing my money) and played it in PC. It has great graphics and sound, but play control is abysmal and the logic of the puzzles is written poorly. Also, considering their clearly poor support on the App Store, I would not expect this game to improve - stay away.

The arcade game was pretty cool. However, joystick or not, the controls on this suck. Plus, why is the computer the only one to hit doubles? Also the AI runners are a joke. Worst of all, the game remains relatively playable, but they removed. Yes, removed the savegame feature, so you gave to play the entire pen at all the way through at once? This is unacceptable and fraudulent since that means this is not the game you would be expecting. GOG - I advise you kick this game out if your site until They fix the lack of a save game!

I cannot remember playing a game where I could not put it down. I just wanted to play, and felt sad at the end of each chapter, because it was an episodic game, like an interactive TV show that I did not want to end. There is not exactly much replay value, as you can make different choices, but the overall end I think, but it is like a good show that you can watch over and again.

Chris Roberts in an interview with Computer Gaming world demonstrated his pure arrogance, claiming Wing Commander was the best game ever. It also demonstrated how little he knew about gaming. Wing Commander Prophecy would be ok as a movie, but as a game, no. First off, you cannot map the controls to a space combat game? What good is me having a controller if to use afterburners, I have to released the controller to hold Tab down. I have a ton of buttons and cannot use them? Also, the game cheats. Big time cheating. On the second mission, outnumbered like 4-1 by the enemy,. which should not be that early in a game, I shot the enemy fighter and counted 24 hits, and all within a few moments, and he still was flying around like invincible, and this was on the second-easiest setting. I died 14 times without ever completing it. Oh, the other NPC pilots were downing fighters with a few hits, but not me. This has to be not only the worst Wing Commander game ever (and WC4 was horrid), but one of the worst space combat games of all time. Save your money.

So my juvenile brain shares thoughts on the game I gushed about last week, Alan Wake. The game has a really good story (minus some really awful dialogue)and it was very gripping at first. However, the play balancing is atrocious. Checkpoints are laid out badly, sometimes forcing you to repeat numerous encounters over and again, just to die the end of the check and repeat 5-10 minutes over and over and over again because of one misstep and the poor controls. Also the “Taken” monsters can be too tough, taking sometimes 7-8 shots to kill when you have limited ammo, originally a 5 out of 5 star game in my book, the way they ruined the fun in an otherwise epic game brings it down to a 2.5 at best. Yes, the play-balancing, poor controls, and cheap deaths are really that bad. Remedy, usually makes good games, but this is the crap experience I expect from Electronic Arts, Replay, and Ubisoft, not the ones who brought Max Payne to the world.

Replay games is a joke. Between this and Fester Miss, they have perpetrated a fraud on the gaming community. Filled with bugs and they do not support it worth a dang. The graphics are good and sound are good, but the new puzzles are obtuse, boring, and a complete dud! I love Leisure Suit Larry, but this takes the classic in a horribly hellish direction. Do not waste your cash on anything by replay games.
