Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

a true classic, made playable by GOG

I played this when it first come out, it is to this day my favorite fallout game. Sure much of the gameplay improvments of new vegas are better, the same could be said for fallout 4 over new vegas. but the atmosphere of fallout 3, the desperation, potential doom if the project is not completed, and that humanity is on the brink makes this game.

An Awesome reboot

This game is an epic sequal to the original games, its close enough in style to the originals to be a true sequal, whilst having all of the benifits of being a modern game. This game is targeted a little more to fans of the franchise, but i think it would still make a great entry point to the world of Stalker.

BIT.TRIP FLUX

Pong on Acid

Seizure test for gamers, play a few levels and find out whether or not you are epileptic, solid sountrack but gameplay is nothing to write home about, only buy if you love paddle games, it basically pong on acid.

Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition

Amazing co-op experience

One of the few games to legitamatley get my heart racing (on hard) , death is punishing but not disheartening, making for exciting chases and shouting out loud at joy or frustrations depending on the result. great RPG elements made getting to the next level a thing of joy and the story was solid with good (if barely present) NPCs. Please note I found this game boring to play on normal, as it was a i bit of a grind, but play on hard with a friend and it becomes amazing,

Master of Orion: Collector's Edition

A worthy successor

Now a lot of people just want a remake of MOO or MOO2 (I was literally still playing MOO2 in 2015 before I even heard of this games development) and to address them, firstly yes it is different, secondly no you can’t just travel in any direction. But this is a good thing, being able to travel a limited distance due to fuel constraints added the strategy to the previous games, but NEVER actually having to send ships back for fuel didn't make any sense, this game has used a tried and tested system of warp points (see games such as space empires or escape velocity to name ones of the top of my head), Now this warp point system (at least if you've played it with a spiral galaxy) creates choke points and boundaries through unstable warp points only accessible later in the game. adding strategy through colonising and building outposts. Is this MOO2 with a new coat of paint NO, is this a new game a different from its predecessors as each other, YES, and anyone who thinks this is, as big a disappointment as MOO3 has their head so firmly entrenched up their own arse they probably couldn’t tell the difference between a klacklon and a Silicoid (yet to be included in development). Now this game is in development, if you have a problem with it send in a rationalized reason why they should take you views into consideration, and if they may very well consider it, don't sit there and bitch about it rating a predeveloped game by the argument it wasn't like that wet dream you had about it. Now i have been playing Master of Orion 2 since its release well into 2015, if this game delivers half of what its promised so far, i can say its likely i will never play MOO2 again. And thats about the highest compliment i can pay any game.
