Ahhh nostalgia... I played the crap out of this game as a kid. The weird deaths and vibes of the game, the music, and the somewhat engaging gameplay (that a young me found quite difficult) led to the satisfying feeling of beating this game. Good game, pretty short. Environments are fun and all different. Boss battle(s?) are mid. Worth a few dollars for sure!
Alright first off -- I've never played this game through completely, getting all the stuff you can and making friends with everyone and all that. But I love this game so much. It has so much to it yet it is pretty simple and you can pick it up and play it for an hour or a month straight and you'll still love it. Incredibly relaxing... never thought I would have so much fun clearing land and planting crops... :)
This game is one of the best tactical squad based shooters in my opinion. There are tons of options for loadouts for you and your team and the missions are quite varied. Every mission seems fun and there is a good bit of thinking that has to go into each mission to get the top rating. The game really is intense and there's nothing quite like getting a top rating in a very hard mission knowing you did everything correctly. 5/5 stars.
