I love Devcats' games. They are always high quality and made with love — and Sudocats is no different. You either enjoy Sudoku or not, so there isn't much to share about the gameplay itself. The cat theme is nice though it can be a bit confusing on the 9×9 boards. There's a cats/digits toggle we can use to instantly switch, so that helps. The music is nice, as are the sound effects. It’s a great game to enjoy with your morning coffee, and helping cats while we're at it. (Check the free DLC for printable Sudoku pages)

Navigating the menus is very slow, not sure why. Each time you click on something, there's delay before the action. Controlling the cars is not fun, which for me is the main reason to play these type of games. You don't feel the speed, it's like driving in mud. Visuals are nice for what it is, and on sale it's less then $1, so if you think you might like you, give it a try just don't get your hopes high.

Challenging, but fair. Visuals are nice. It took me a few rounds to get used to the mechanism as it's not the same as other match 3 style games, but once you do it's a smooth sail. There's a bug that prevents high score from getting recorded, at least for me, but other than that I didn't encounter any issues. Get it as a "with the morning coffee" game, or for few rounds at the end of the day.

Game is just not worth it, even on sale. The game play itself is lazy, puzzles are extremely easy and you can finish it all on first try. Story is juvenile, including the "sex" scenes. Animation is OKish but simple. Last scene is weird, and a bit non consensual which is a weird way to end the game. You collect items which has no use at all, and you collect stars which has no use at all. The map screen of the game is visually nice, and they have a dedicated page to re-view pictures/videos but there's no reason to do so.

Being a free game, there's not much to lose by trying it. It demonstrates the style and quirkiness of these games, which you'll either click with, or not. I would treat this one as a prologue game, as it is very short and can be played in 30-50 minuets. Recommended, and if you like it, check the other ones from the same series and developers.

I don't think the 2P mode was needed, it's a nice game to play solo, even if a bit challenging for younger gamers (which might want to try due to graphics). Only 3 worlds, with 4+Boss levels each. I think 4 worlds would've been nice, with another outside world. Music is repetative and sound feels generic. I didn't fully understand the logic behind what you keep and what you lose once you die and go back to latest checkpoint, or what was the point with collecting coins/diamonds at all. With all that being said, I enjoyed the game and it's worth the asking price during a sale, just don't expect too much.
