No mans sky is a game with clever gameplay. when we bought it we knew that it was still unfinished. The game will grow and expand with every update. It is a sandbox about exploring. I am fine with that. the community will learn to love it with time. My experience with the game brought to light several problems. The first of which is simple. I always get lost far away from my ship. This, coupled with the fact that walking is so slow leads to long boring trudges across wastelands. Alone either of these things would be okay. but life support and hazard protection must be recharged constantly. On barren planets there is little things to recharge causing me to wander further to my ship. All of these things combine to leave me stuck on a dull planet. On the other hand there are lots of cool features. including carnivorous plants. Those little beasties are so cool. Another good feature is that the sentinels have a cute scanning animation to show their displeasure. There are monoliths everywhere breaking up an otherwise dull planet. In the end no mans sky proves to be a clever game. 9/10
