At first I was suspicious because what's the playtime and the actual experience for 7,99 EUR and all that? But thanks to a responsive support team I found the answers I was looking for quickly in the boards of GOG and Steam. As GOGGalaxy keeps track of my playtime my summed up playtime with looking for 100% level completion was a bit more than 10 hours. For 7,99 with puzzles that do not break me on the inside while still making me stay interested, nice long enough levels and a funny story I do not mind, instead I am glad the development team could throw in another round for the Trine lovers for a price that is still acceptable. Also perfect reaction from the support team to join in on someone's recommendation on steam boards to provide save states up front for those who finished the main game many months ago and didn't back up. @Developers: Thank you for another beautiful and all so lovely Trine adventure :)

What I did not expect to become a series was the first Trine game that pulled me in from the first start. Here we are now, 3 games later and wow, a lot has changed. While I always remember Trine 1+2 as more or less "2D games" it is Trine 4 that combines the attempt of going crazy 3D from Trine 3 with one of the loveliest worlds and gameplays I've ever experienced. In my opinion classic Trine that lives up to the modern times. And since the majority of puzzles in the previous Trine games were a bit too difficult for my personal taste, I find it good this part of the Trine series takes it a bit easier with the player ... however there are still some puzzles that really turn me off as they seem to rely on all kinds of random factors.
