If you are new to this series, save your money and buy realMyst: Masterpiece Edition, (2014) instead. Its the same game as MYST Masterpeice Edition just Much Better graphics. And The Original green-screen videos of all real actors/creators remain unchanged from the original MYST. And the environments only received a much needed upgrade and polished 3D which did the original justice. However if you decide on this MYST Masterpeice edition; understand this port did not age well. You will encounter a Very low resolution aspect ratio, poor audio, worse than the original PC, Sega Saturn or Playstion port. And a glitch here or there. This version is only for people who want to buy it for nostalgia's sake specifically for their GOG library. On a unrelated note: Avoid "Myst (2021)" like a plague. That was yet another version that replaced the real video actors, with ugly cartoon 3D models. And was version for VR players.. There is also RIVEN Remake, I think its on GOG under the same title as the original RIVEN, so be aware. And that also made the mistake of replacing the original green screen character with very ugly Low quality 3D character models. Again, Get "realMyst: Masterpiece Edition" ( it retains the original actor videos). Not MYST Masterpiece Edition (unless collecting as its a poor port). If you want to original MYST its best to find an original copy of the CD someplace else. Same goes for the Riven copy GOG as it suffers from being a very poor low qualiy port. If you get Riven remake, while the environments are a good upgrade, they Failed by added cartoon 3D models to replace the original videos as well.
this game looks okay for a moment, then you soon realize the controls suck. and its one hit you lose. the game is only tollerable if you can find a invicible mod from Nexus mods. otherwise, pass! really sucks.
Voice acting you get in this is Top notch. The delivery of every line is even beyond what we get today. The gameplay and progression for stats is actually entertaining and you care about keeping mind to them. Its been a Long time since I played this game, but I remember the characters are inderring and you actually care to hear what they got to say.

Its just mid. V's 3d model is poor. Devs rushed the game, and neglected it. its a whitewash over what are just skelletal remains of a unfinished game.
not wipe out. the end.
Controls feel bad. game play is boring. level design, needs more thought. good concept, but fails on important points that i cant enjoy. Graphics cant save this game.
I'll just say that up until now, hype and media marketing had more influence for why this game was popular more than the game itself. Cyberpunk 2077 is Mid. Mediocre at best. Only useful thing about this game, it's a decent benchmark test for PC hardware. The story feels kinda disconnected from the 3D environment you travers. Animations: NPC's (Non player characters) visuals and animations and the cars, are okay. But everything ellse is poor. Your player V, has jank or poor animations. Camera Frist person perspective for V is bad. As if your eyes are positioned closer to the neck: so fourharms and legs appear oddly close to view. Audio Environment or Character: NPC's around the map repeat the same strange voice lines over and over. A constant reminder of this mid. How many times this game repeats "you'll swallow a fly" or " everyones got it out for me " delivered in the worst voice acting? The ambient night city audion is bad too. You see the same repeated behavior and gangs on the same street corners everywhere. Night City looks bad, its just ugly. There was little to no design language to this city. Other than a very rough mock up trying to look like New Port City from Ghost in the Shell 2017 ( movie )... Then to add onto all that, they make a side quest Mocking The Lord Jesus Christ? Because they had a fruity story director on the payroll. Im glad they got the backlash when this game first released because of that. There is just No atmosphere or style in this game after you play a few hours you release how bad it is. It has its moments and scenes, but overall its a rushed game. There is no reputation system nor dynamic events . Its all scriptured and bland. Whenever the hype wares off, its mid.
