If you played Bioshock 1 and liked it, this offers much of the same in terms of atmosphere and gameplay. It's a great story, and a very fun first person shooter that isn't just another military themed one.
There is a lot to explore in the game. I like you can customize a lot of the world you want to load in, and variety of characters you can play, and the stuff you can do. Technically there is no goal (unless going for adventure), so you can design your own gameplay, really. The art style is also an interesting quirky and dark, which is pretty cool Also hours and hours of replayability. Thumbs up.
Psychonauts has a very original story, aided by interesting atomsphere and often hilarious dialogue. The gameplay is classic adventure type with a very light RPG element, making the whole game entertaining and worth its money. The only downside is there is very little to do in terms of replay value, other than reliving the adventure again (which is not a bad incentive, just not so soon) Tip: for those playing with mouse and keyboard (which is perfectly viable) turn off smart camera in the settings, because it will drive you mad.
