This is a game full of mystery that does not hold your hand and you have to figure out a lot of things by yourself. I would give it 5 stars with a little more variety with the enemies. But seriously, play this. Now. You will remember this game and its eerie atmosphere for a long time.
This is more of an interactive novel, or a new way of story telling than a game per se, so don't expect shooting action or anything like that. This is rather a trip into a Stephen King novel. You also get extras for The Secret World (the MMO) and if you have played it before you will have a wide grin about all the little hints and learning more background infos, since this plays in location that is also part of the MMO. Expect 3 hours playtime, this is how long it took me to finish, but it was intense and every minute nailed me to my seat.
Never played a game with more complex sandbox economy and freedom to do whatever you want. Great game if you install some of the available mods which make life easier. It is a hard game with a steep learning curve and the campaign is basically a tutorial. This is not really a typical space sim, it's really about the sandbox. Some things are annoying like repetitive voiceovers but there are mods for eveyrthing to customize your experience. Imho the best space game around with the most freedom of choice.
