Punch Club 2: Fast Forward

Really fun until end-game

I'm quite fond of the Punch Club franchise, this game is a nice throwback to it's predecessor while doing it's own thing. Lots of references, way more and more obvious than in PC1, it's quite a funny ride. Gameplay-wise, the early and mid-game are lots of fun, every step is something new to do and more goals to achieve but the end-game is quite grindy and stale, with very little to do until the final questline. I'd recommend it for it's gameplay and humor but not it's story.

Suzerain

Geopolitical drama game

You play as the sitting president of Sordland and are given the means to change it as you see fit, but you will face opposition from within and outside. as the president you decide the country's stance in the international stage and juggle around to gain support, balance the budget and maintain a good standing with your family and cabinet.

Iron Storm

Artistic masterpiece

Iron Storm doesn't shine for it's gameplay, though not bad it could be better, most of the time I just walked in circles looking either a button or a glass pipe that allowed me to continue my playthrough, or got sniped by infantry and armored vehicles. What makes this game special is it's premise, a WWI that never ended and an industrial sector that profits from it, you are the action hero on a mission to destroy your enemies, but would more blood spilled really change things?

Evil Genius

Good Old Game

Even with his age, the game holds itself pretty well and it's fun to a massive extend, but the most stunning thing about it it's how it captures that 70s Bond villain aesthetic perfectly while still doing his own thing. It is grindy, and guides you by the hand but does so like a father teaching his son how to ride a bike.

Realpolitiks II

Fine, but unplayable without cheats

I think this one is a slightly better version of the first game, it added a little more depth to it, but like the first game, is becomes unplayable as action points dwindle and there's no way of effectively generate them, so you can only sit back and watch your country burn to the ground.

NEO Scavenger

Amazing but unfair

In this game, every step is an uphill battle, your character is always a bad day away from dying, it is an experience where every small victory is celebrated to it's fullest. Unforgiving, but sometimes unfair, I got kicked out of a restaurant because I didn´t tip and then died of hunger in the outskirts of Detroit. Also, a Dogman ambushed me and then had a heart attack in front of me, 10/10.

City Game Studio: Your Game Dev Adventure Begins

Game Dev tycoon but better

A simple enough game with amazing depth into it, it´s what GDT makes you crave for when playing it from back to back.
