Lab guys don't learn anything

I mean, sure, we can get a little girl to be part of some random experiments and everything goes to hell, who wouldn't think of that. This game has something different to this day, and i love how mixed the difficulty of a fps with the time slow feature as a skill works here, while at the same time, Alma messes with your head at random moments with jump scares. It's wonderful to be honest and this being the OG it was masterfully well done for the time and IMO still stands its ground to this day.

Silent Hill 4: The Room

My first and favorite

When i was a teen, my will to play fantasy and adventure games, always took the best of me, but at some point in '07, i got hooked by the cover of this game in the local store. When i asked the employee (that happened) to be my friend as well, he only said that "i know the franchise is mainly of scary games, but i know nothing for this"; curiosity catched my instinct and i did take it home. From this game, i learned the feeling of being overwhelmed by playing something terrifying for too long, would make me feel bad somehow (phisically and mentally). Totally understand and agree why fans of SH, dont like this entry, but my point here it's how beautifully this port was remade by GOG in a point where i dare to say, its best than the original for some reasons being: The controls are adjusted Loading almost perfect Not sure but sounds all in all, are more scary as if they were treated somehow to a point i get scared even now as an adult, just knowing what will happen next As for the game itself, it became a cult game for the franchise, knowingly that homecoming and downpour exists (even though i like downpour a lot), this game gets it for me, mainly because of Walter Sullivan. Dude's only wish is to see his mommy y'know, gotta handle it to him

FINAL FANTASY VII

Don't mind the bad reviews, this is it

Even though, i am fully aware of the problems regarding this port and all the critics on steam and here, about this port in specific, don't let it sway you the simple fact that this is the one to keep forever here on GOG. FF VII still has the most iconic characters, plot twist and story development, imo to this day, if compared to other final fantasies. Enjoy this retro comeback of the '90s playstation as you should, since apparently square do cares about their older games and all of their inclusion here are so relevant to all community. I plan to go 100% here on GOG, since i've already done it in ps4. I'm my 30s now and this game, just keeps hitting its point every single time with the music and gameplay, regarding the materia system, that you'll meet after the first "chapter" per se. My final saying is, if you're reading this on february 2026, buy the game anyway, its cheap and it may be fixed along the way, it's a total banger to have and one day, play it, if you have the patience to do it!
