Like all tower defense games, it's really easy to understand. But once I started, well, first session I went straight 3 hours, next session, another 3 hours straight. (Not that it needed to be played that long. It was just really fun.) That's a really long gaming time, considering I only have 3-4 hours real leisure time in a workday (but tomorrow/today is a weekend, so I stayed up late.) Bought today, played today -- first time I did that on a GOG game, because I was excited about it. It didn't fail me. It's also quite deep. I reeeally like the upgrade features for the towers, there's always something new, but I never felt overwhelmed. And the Heroes, oh man, really great addition. (Other tower defense I played didn't have heroes.) Animations are smooth, designs are really great. The only thing wrong that I really noticed was that some interface buttons are hard to find. I had to hover the mouse around a little bit (as if the interface should be a bit of a puzzle game). Really minor though. Still giving it 5 stars =') This is my very first review on GOG.
