The 1st game in the series almost plays like a beta to WarCraft 2. It lacks a lot of the refinment of newer RTS games - as the genre was still being developed. This game is fun to go back to and challange yourself with.

This is the Batman game that began the Arkham series. It's an incredible third person game that's amazingly easy to pick up and play. The controls are amazing, and everything flows really well. There's a lot that I'd go into, but I don't want to spoil the surprises that await you. You don't even need to be a Batman fan to appreciate this, but you'll probably be one after playing.

I picked this up after completing Bioshock Infinite (yeah, I played it out of order). Between the two, I prefer Infinite as it seems to run better and has more polish. Make sure to save often, as the game crashed on me randomly. I have about 22 hours of gameplay and it's crashed about 6 times. I also experienced a weird glitch where I saved a little sister and she just stood there, so I had to save her a second time. Also had a few weird things where solid objects clipped through NPCs. This looked strange but didn't impact the gameplay. The game is worth getting, as it's pretty fun and has a fun twist in the story. My purchase also included the OG (non-remastered) version of the game. I didn't see that benefit mentioned when I bought it, but it's nice to have. Maybe it doesn't crash like the remaster. I'd rate it 5 stars if it didn't crash on me.

Is this game perfect? nope. Are the controls tight? nope. Are there flaws in it? yep. Has it aged well? that's debatable. If you've got time to kill and you want to mess around with an early story-based third-person shooter, then this might be the game for you. The gameplay is varied, as it adds snowspeeder, spederbike, and space shooter levels, all of which are pretty simplified. If you take this game for what it is in 2022 (an old game that's now a budget title) you can enjoy it. If you're expecting like The Force Unleashed then you should look elsewhere.

This is my first Lego game, and I just cannot get into it. I really bought it to kick the tires on a Lego game before dropping a bunch of money on the new Lego Skywalker Saga, and I think I dodged a bullet. The graphics aren't bad and the music is great, but it isn't fun. The controls aren't intuitive. I've experienced this in other games, but the difference there was once you figured it out the gameplay experience improved. This one did not. After playing through the first four or five levels I lost interest. This game now holds the distinction of being the first GOG title that I've uninstalled, and I've been buying games here for years. If you like both Lego games and Star Wars this might be for you, but if you're like me and only enjoy the Star Wars aspect of it then there are better games on GOG to get your SW fix.

This game reintroced me to story based FPSs after a 17+ year break. The game is amazing. It's got great graphics, great gameplay, and its story bends your mind a bit. I played through the game and the 2 story based DLCs. You must play the 2 story based DLCs, they're the icing that kicks the game up to another level.

This is the same game I remember playing back in the 90s. It is awesome. I've got dozens of hours on the GOG version, racked up before I installed Galaxy. I'm anxious to see if the cloud save really works. Now for the gotchas... the keyboard is almost non-responsive to steer ship during combat. USE YOUR MOUSE BUTTONS TO STEER... left click to steer left, right click to steer right. CANNONS MISSING? You need to make sure you answer the question correctly when asked to identify a pirate flag. Look in the manual or the flags.pdf in the install directory. This was used as old school copy protection back in the day. A lot of MicroProse games used a similar copy protection strategy. If you don't identify the flag correctly you should quit and reload the game.
