Metro Exodus

An Excellent sequel in the Metro Series!

I have all the Metro games on both Steam and GOG. When Exodus released on Steam I played the life out of the game, and when it came to GOG I snagged it immediately. Absolutely fantastic story and its environments ooze with the post-apocalyptic and dreadful essence. The story is a great extension of the life of Artyom and his comrades. The open mission aspect is really where this game shines — you are released into a brand new world free from the confines of the Metro. If you are a fan of the previous entries into the Metro series, I’d highly recommend grabbing this one and adding it to your collection.

Alien: Isolation

Horror at It's Best

I have always been a fan of the aliens franchise, don't get me wrong the movies are a great deal scary. But not on this level. The immersion and the atmosphere of being in this series is absolutely awful....In a good scary way. Throughout my playthrough all I wanted was to find a safe space where I could get a breather in and lower my heart rate. Alas, I did not get that. This game makes it so that you don't feel any kind of comfort whatsoever, None, Zero, Nada, Zilch. In the safe zones you don't feel safe, not even around other NPC's. This Is a game where you might compete a playthrough over the course of several days to weeks depending on your willingness to beat it, call it done & and uninstall. But then weeks or months later, you feel a drive to download it again and boot it up. Then the cycle repeats. Absolute masterpiece in Aliens horror. Definently looking forward to alien isolation 2. ;)
