A simple but fantastic game. The option menu alone was enough to bring a smile to my face. You there are a bunch of option to emulate old school looks. You can even make the game look like an orginal gameboy game. The game play is satfying. It feels just like a classic doom game with enough modern addtion to make everyone feel at home similar to DooM(2016). I would recommed the game to anyone Young or old Only complaint is the Resolution only goes to 1920x1080
This has to be one of the worst game i have ever played. Do not get me wrong i am enjoying my self alot more then i should most likely but i think it is for all the wrong reasons. First off i can say this plot is very hard to follow the Inbetween mission cutsence seem to take place independent of what is actually going on for what ever reason. The opening intro after mission 0 was excellent and well done hold up pretty well. The thing is that is feel like something you would see at the end of the demo so you can buy the game. It shows the PC(i have no idea who you are playing as) running around with a metal claw arm with a bunch of guns duel weilding but then when it ends you are in a farm house. The PC like to change is voice randomly sometimes too.Just something he does i guess The physics in this game are hallrious. I 90% of the time when i kill someone there body just shots into the air and rag dolls like crazy the remaing 10% a limb clips into a wall causing the body to spaz out. Kicking people is awsome because it causes them to drop like a sack of patatos. As for the diffculty i would say this game is super easy.I'm currently on normal and i am just blasting threw levels with barrely any ristance. I think i might have died once only because i spamed grenades everywhere. I honestly have no idea how the health system works. Preformance wise this game seems off. I am currently running it on a 6700k 1080sli and it hasnt had a stable frame rate (with and without sli on) Tl;Dr would recommend this game if you are looking to play a good bad game.The game it self isnt bad just the combat is fun and fluid but just everything surronding it just make it a hallrious sit.
Let me start of by saying if you enjoying 4x games similar to Master of orion then you should deffiantly gives this game a chance.I was very skeptical about getting this game because it looked like some meh flash game that you would find on the ios store but i was very wrong. The game has a unquie personality and some humor to it that is really needed in a genre that is basicly you looking at menues for hours on end. As for the gameplay i would say it is fairly competent it is your standared fair colonize planets so you can produce more recourse to expand more ect.Diplomacy is very lacking which is a minor gripe i have because i love diplomacy in these games. The ship combat is turn based this is one aspect i think can be inporved by having a quick anmation option. Waiting for 20 ships to complete there 4-5 second animation becomes a bit tiresome late game. This game does have a snowballing problem also. If you play the game extremly agressivly the AI doesnt seems to know how to handle it so you tend to be unstopable around mid game. TL:DR You should deffinatly check this game out if your a fan of the 4x genre expect a well crafted game with minor flaws
