When it was first out in the arcades I didn't care much for it. Now that it's on GOG DRM free I enjoy playing it for short periods of times. Were I to spent the money per credit I've spent, it would've been was more than $6 and it has small discount sales. With infinite credits and IIRC 2 player local coop, it's a great run and gun arcade game. The other first metal slug games, 1,2,3,X are also enjoyable. I dunno if I'd wand 5 or not but if it was available on GOG I'd gladly risk $6 to have all the MVS arcade Metal Slug games.

I purchased the game to support legal emulation. I've wanted the game on PC for years and DRM FREE is a plus. This is the AES (NEO CONSOLE) set of ROMs and has limited credits/continues. Eventually I want to purchase every SNK game on GOG, but this is not my favorite NEO GEO game. I prefer the Neo Pocket SNK match of the millennium which is cheaper and not as hard. Still, I'm not regretting my decision to buy this game.

This was the game I paid the most money for on Steam. I purchased the deluxe version as the artbook and soundtrack aren't sold separately and I wanted them. The shooter requires memorization and catlike reflexes. It has good visuals and the music is enjoyable enough I wasted to buy it. There are multiple groups of paths to play and they can be difficult to survive. I'm an older gamer with a fondness for classic arcade shooters and this fits the bill.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night PC/GOG 4/5 It's a fun Metrovania game that can be finished in under 20 hours unless you get lost as I did and spend too many hours trying to figure out why you're stuck instead of looking for a Walkthrough guide. I suggest having a walkthrough guide handy. It crashed on me a few times but it might be my dying PC. I suggest using save rooms as often as possible... I thoroughly enjoyed the game and will probably try to get the true ending down the line. There's a lot more to the game that extends play if you want to do quests and get 100% achievements. You could always just get the 1st "bad" ending @ under 20 hours.... Your choice. I picked it up for around $16 and believe it was worth it. At the time of posting this review I have a bit over 30 hours with more game for me to play...

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean 8/10 It was a bit of a PitA to get it from crashing with Windows 10. I lost progress a few times. I enjoyed the game and had fun playing it. There's nothing special about the game. Either you like Lego games or don't. It doesn't stand out among the many Lego games.

The graphics might not wow you, but the story is great. The game has challenging bosses. You get to play multiple characters with unique abilities. You upgrade stats and even some skills are shared between all the family members who fight the battles in the game. I recomment it. It took me much longer than it will take a skilled gamer. Most gamers can finish the game in under 20 hours. It took me over 25.

It can be played through on easy in an hour or so. I found the first 2 worlds easy to finish on one credit. The later worlds can get nasty. Quick twin stick shooter with some nasty enemies later on.. Save humans, secrets to be found. Its a good game. I snagged it for $7.99. It was an ok price for the game.
