Combat is really fun once you learn how to juggle enemies, and do dropkicks. Story is exeptionally VtM with a lot of intrigue, vampire politics, and more. Fantastic voice actings and characters. The setting and lore is rich and well realized. Needs more landmarks though. No Space Needle in a game set in Seattle is honestly a crime. On the other hand, game is quite buggy. Ranging from NPC moans in a different voice than their dialogue voice, to NPC falling through the maps, to YOU falling through the map yourself. Hard crashed once when loading opening the door to the Glacier. Game optimization is really odd. Plays amazing when indoor, but horrible frame hitches in the snow. Side quests are more side than quest. Could be taken out of the game completely and replaced with random encounters on the map. The feeding mechanic is... eh. Different flavors of louring civilians into an alley so you can drain their blood but you have to do it SO MUCH. Wish there were more way to gain blood essence besides doin deliveries for Mrs.Thorn.

As a standalone, it's a competent game. I enjoyed the combat, the movement, the writing, the world design, but this is not Bloodlines. 7.5/10 game. This is not an RPG in anyways. Progression is very linear, side quests are more sides than quests. Game is still quite buggy. No idea why Paradox Launcher is required to launch this game.

I love it! There's so much heart, so much soul to the game! Despite the odd bugs and glitches, I have yet to experienced anything game breaking. I'm looking forward to jumping right back in for a second or third playthrough of the game when it is polished to shine.
