I needed to write a review about this game because... oh boy it sure is great. Oke, this game sure has great atmosphere. Everything is detailed and you can tell the developers wanted to put a lot of life to this world. Its the little things like how he put's his sword back in the seath with every slash and how characters are broken and sick of the world. It's the little things like how the shopkeeper has a dragon helmet and one of the horns is broken. I love it. You can feel the sick depressing world these people live in. in one word: its amazing. I love it that your armor and sword changes ingame with every upgrade. The gameplay is your classic castlevania-metroid and...shatterhand. You have a world map, beat the boss, look for secrets. You know, the good stuff. its classic. The music is very good and sets the mood for the world you're about to enter. Oniken was great but this is a must buy. 10/10
Oniken is a NES game, but done right. The difficulty is not to hard (while it is hard) and not to easy. It is short, but it really is an awesome game. It get's not a 5 star raiting because of the length. Its a buy.
