It was hard to get back to using the keyboard for the movement and combat, but after awhile it was like old times. The levels are very maze like and you need to explore everywhere. it has resource management as mobs will continuously spawn. It was so delightful to be back in Hexen all these decades later. Still worth a play now and thanks to GoG for keeping this gem active.
Still a very fun game at 51. My son is into it as well, and he laughs with delight each new discovery.
