Having played just over 17 hours with the game, I can safely say that not since the original two Baldur's Gate has a game captured my attention and imagination as much as this one has. The developers interpretation and implementation of the D&D 5e ruleset is absolutely fantastic. Yes, the production values of the game are not as good as Baldur's Gate 3, but Solasta's combat and gameplay is simply unmatched. It has the feeling of an old-school party based RPG mixed with modern day QOL features. I would highly recommend this game to anyone and I am looking forward to seeing what the developers do next.
