Dead set, if this came had come out in 2020 I doubt we'd have noticed COVID. I've spent the last few days in a comfy year chilling with Dorfromantik, alternating between building for pleasure and chasing scores and challenges. I can't wait for the creative mode and for anything else this talented team of student developers choose to add in! Mechanically it feels a bit like a hex-based, single player Carcasonne, where you're aiming to connect the edges of each tile to match their neighbours while also trying to grow your districts to make the longest river or largest village. Thanks to a gentle tilt-shift and friendly art style, it's extremely relaxing to play and build, with enough complexity and meta-goals to chase that there's probably something here for everyone. To top it all off it's well implemented on GOG with full achievement support. It's still in development too so it's only going to get better with time!

Littlewood is a low-fi, chill take on Stardew Valley where there is no combat, just making friends, exploring and crafting to be had in spades. There is so much stuff to unlock and things to level up and chip away at; none of it is especially demanding and you can really just progress at your own pace. There's dozens of hours of relaxing enjoyment to be had here, and the only reason its not a 5/5 for me is that the developer didn't bother to implement GOG achievements. It's a minor thing - I'd give it a 4.8 if I could :-)

God this is such a great little game! Fantastic pixel art, tight controls, heaps of variety in characters and approaches and a stunning amount of content for the price. I've dropped twenty hours on this game to beat the main missions and max out 3 of the 6 characters, without even going too deep into the challenges, zombies or endless mode. The ONLY thing preventing this being 5 stars is the lack of custom level support on the GOG version - another lazy Steam port that needs Workshop to function unfortunately. If they ever fix this it's an instant 5/5 for me!

Dark Quest is a solid, fun little dungeon crawl, marred by a lazy GOG implementation. There's no achievements, and the custom map section in game tells you to open the Steam Workshop which obviously you can't do... By all means grab it on sale, but if you want the proper experience you paid for you shouldn't grab it here sadly.
