Ultima™ Underworld 1+2

It's over twenty years old and still hasn't lost any charm, it's controls are a little outdated but not broken. Definitely worth it.

Yep, that's right. This is the inspiration to many many other rpg that you've enjoyed. While now kind of old, the game surprinsigly don't repulse you with clunky old gameplay. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Those were brilliant games. I took my first steps into RPG playing with these. Excellent game plot. The characters in the game respond to your actions and words. Your actions can change the outcome of the puzzles. Someone should give these games a makeover like they have with the Kings Quest series, and bring these gems back alive in the modern OS's.

I used to play Ultima Underworld in the nineties. It was an amazing game - and still is. The atmosphere is unique, the storyline is rich and deep, puzzles are smart and rewarding and there´s a good sense of humour. UU 2 was new time, and it too became one of my all-time favourite rpg:s with its highly creative different worlds. The only thing that I don´t like in these gems is the fighting which is a bit ackward. Still, fantastic games - true classics of all time.

UUW1 may possibly be the best game ever created. I won't repeat anything already said in other reviews here, but this game is a flawless 100 out of 100.
