Renia Lupinegar was supposed to die with Gerano.
Instead she survived.
But someone survived with her.
Or rather...
Something.
Karak swore his life to Renia Lupinegar long before Gerano fell.
Long before either of them understood what she would become.
When their world burns, Renia refuses to let it die.
And somewhere in the darkness...
something answers.
...But power never comes freely.
As Renia’s dream begins to consume her, loyalty twists into something far more dangerous. And Karak, burdened by a truth even he barely understands, must decide whether devotion means standing beside her… or standing against her.
In a world devoured by war, what is more dangerous: the enemy at the gates, or the dream that refuses to die?
