Following a narrow tunnel among the rubble you are lead to a large underground lake, brimming with rare fish. With your trusty sword-turned-fishing-rod, you'll have your encyclopedia filled out in no time. And better yet, with the right merchant, you'll be swimming in riches, not just water! 

 
 
Right from the start you're pulled into a conflict between two of the remaining factions in the valley. Despite your strength and abilities, this is not something you can solve on your own, and being an outsider trust is hard to come by.

Very platformy

I’m not that good at the platforming, of which there is a lot once you get deep underground, but I got through it with practice and when I passed by those areas a second or third time while looking for secrets or completing quests I was surprised at how much better I had gotten (except for one turbulant room that I still loath). Just moving around and exploring the world is wonderfully smooth and the combat is perhaps overtuned in your favour with lots of attacks (light, heavy, directional, charge, aerial) a dodge and a counter although at the same time healing can be expensive. Petting the animals would qualify the game for a sixth star but GOG caps at five.

Fun gameplay, positive, dynamic, on lisp

An android with a sword rebuilding a world -- how much better can it get? Some jump-challenges are quite hard, and their parts on the map are littered with places where I died, but everything feels alive and moving and stays challenging. It’s one of the gems out there, and the game engine is free software built in common lisp. I played the game on Steam, because back then it wasn’t available here yet, and enjoyed it a lot.
