Lore & Worldbuilding lacking
Mechanics: 7/10 Solid hardcore RPG mechanics, classic trial elements work well. Combat, stat allocation, and magic use are functional and can be satisfying if approached carefully. Dying due to risky exploration feels fair in a hardcore context. Lore & Worldbuilding: 3/10 The narrative is inconsistent and modernly “polluted.” The world purports a Viking/Druidic/Celtic tone but is undermined by incongruous elements: female warriors, female rulers, and other modern inclusivity choices that clash with the setting’s mythos. Character creation with abstract “physique 1/2” instead of sexes further erodes immersion. NPC placement and story beats often feel forced or unjustified.
