Wow, this is fun.
I was only looking for a cheap game to play for when my internet mucks up. But I have been playing it for about six hours now while also listening to the audio book that came with it. So far I have just about finished the first campaign (not the DLC one) and I am going to go back and play those missions again with different tactics in mind. This game isn't just a mindless rampage game, there are some places where you have to think, even with the larger heavy vehicles, and use the ammo sparingly. Also, the book is great, it gets into the action pretty fast and just keeps on delivering. It's also a bonus to hear the names of the vehicles you can unlock as well as the weapons and how they would be in real life. One of my favourite scenes is where a Mech with a rail gun is stalking three hover tanks, and takes the shot when they are forced to go down a narrow street, he thinks has them but they soon see through his usual trick and thats when things get really interesting. Really digging the world this is set in and great leader may not have been such a bad dictator..weird but true.
