Wish it had expansions

Should be played before Apostle: Rebellion as it sets up a lot of background to major events and characters in the sequel. I got involved in the story so much, I wish it got extra events, an After Story or even alternate endings for several sub-characters. One advantage I think this title has over it's more sophisticated sequel is a larger number of heroines and sub heroines whose stories and endings you can get. The main heroines in particular have proper routes with exclusive individual events, requiring you to replay the game multiple times to get everything. Fortunately, there is a New Game + system that lets you keep loot from previous runs to cut down on the grind. I also feel that while the maps and dungeon designs were simpler, there were more dungeons to explore. Take note that it was a strong positive response to this title that fueled the passion that went into it's amazing sequel.

Not As Good As The Sequel

I gave this game a try and while it does manage to be a bit more than your carbon copy RPG Maker game, it's still not nearly as vibrant as the sequel. You could tell this was the dev team's first shot and there's still a lot of unpolished bits here that are made much better in the sequel. The only reason I can honestly recommend this is because it has information that might help you understand the sequel a bit better. But the way it all happens is just so silly that you'd be better off getting the sequel, which is one of the best Kagura games ever published.

Solid game BUT...

I wouldn't consider this game a hentai game. This game plays like a solid and fun JRPG that has some sex scenes here and there. The story and game play comes first. I will warn you right now, if you're trying to bust a quick nut, you are NOT going to get it here. This game took me about 26 hours to finally beat and I won't lie, it was a very satisfying JRPG game to play through. There are likeable characters and the story is a fun romp. I'd say the only negatives, especially in a hentai game, are the sparsity of sex scenes and the ability to not unlock all of them in the gallery through a switch. I would've at least expected to have the option to unlock them all by beating the game but you really have to go through the game again to unlock other scenes. Of course, they give you abilities to make it easier like skipping battles and certain segments but this game has A LOT of story and skipping text still takes awhile. Overall, solid game, just not much of a hentai game if that makes any sense.

i love games that lets me rename

i've only been playing elden ring consistently and after beating the dlc recently it left me mentally exhausted and looking to "take it easy". when i saw the game play it immediately hooked me and it only needed to pass the last test before i purchase apostle so i went to youtube to watch the opening gameplay to find out if it will allow me to rename at least the protagonist and to my delight it did! so i bought it and so far i like the mature dialogue and the unapologetic adult situations in the game. i am very satisfied with apostle
