The Art of Hard West
Firstly, soundtrack is great, done by the same composer as Witcher 3 Wild Hunt it suits the game well and is good enough to listen to while doing something else, probably connected to satanic practices and/or human sacrifices. Art book is nice as well, but the place where it falls a bit short is the comic. It seemed nice but short. Definitely get it during a sale, if you just have the normal version. I got this as a free upgrade for preordering before 3rd November. Thank you devs for the nice gesture!

When i saw this game I was so hyped by the similarity on an awesome miniature wargame called "Malifaux". The game sets you in a Dark West, taking control of different gunslingers who will fight their fate by shooting to death all foes. Aaand that's it mostly. I played 80% of the game with the hardest difficulty so i think i can give you a reliable opinion of it. In the end i got so bored of this game i couldn't keep playing.
This game is mainly about shooting, yes, there is a certain range of weapons (arround 15 maybe, haven't counted them though) and some powers based on luck. (I'm explaining this mechanism later). So yeah, the game is about positioning and shooting. Maps are so similar and enemies just the same. Fluff wise...i expected much more. Some parts of the story and some characters were completely ridiculous or pointless. The final choice of last campain (main story) is a slap at one's intelligence. I mean, seriously??!!!
As i said i'm gonna explain how luck works. Luck is one of the best features of the game, but at the same time it kinda fails on its purpose. On one side, luck works as a mechanism to avoid getting hurt. You start with 100 luck (stat that can be improved by items or consumables) and every time you would get hit, the probabilty of the enemy hitting you gets rested from your total luck. But at the same time, that luck rested from your total prevents you from using your powers cuz by that time, you've already run out of luck!! There are just two ways of recovering it: getting hit (and remember that you get hit when you don't have enough luck to avoid attacks) or eating/drinking consumables that restore it over time or instantly (you just can take two consumables at most, and not all of them are focused on recovering luck).
So that's it. I really really wanted to like this game, but that seemed impossible. Don't get me wrong, the game is nice, but get it on discount, don't pay 15 euro as i did cuz it doesn't worth it.
