Without a Doubt One of the Best

I had to purchase a Mac for work last year and, otherwise lacking a PC, ended up buying an external GPU enclosure to be able to play games like this one. I forced myself to start with the first two games for the story and experience even though I had a pretty good idea that this one was the crown jewel. I'm happy that I did because both games have their merits, but loading Witcher III for the first time was a special moment in gaming for me. It compares to moments like leaving Midgar for the first time in Final Fantasy VII, or getting underway in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, that feeling of excitement at entering a world of choices and not knowing exactly what to do first. From there, Witcher 3 only gets better as the game unfolds. It met and exceeded every little compelling snippet I'd heard about it over the years from friends, which thankfully were spare and entirely free of spoilers. I first played the game almost exactly a year ago and I'm trying to force myself to wait just a little longer to play it a second time, just so that I might forget a few more details and have it feel new again. If you somehow have waited longer than I did to experience this game and this type of open world fantasy action role-playing appeals, this is the one against which all others should and will be measured for awhile to come.

One of the best games I've ever played!!

I've never played a more immersive and story driven action rpg game than this. If you haven't bought it yet then what are you doing with your life? Just go ahead and buy it. The reviews and the awards that this game won speaks volumes.You won't regret buying it. I bought the steam version of the game and got the GOG version for free during a special event.

My fav game of the last gen.

this is one of my fav games of all times, I played on ps4 like 4 runs with dlc and all. I just bought a pc and I really want to play it with all the good graphics.... recently i found out that CDprojek is going to give for free the upgrade version of the game for all the owners... my question is, If i buy the game here in GoG, will this version be given to me for free as well?

Excellent

Ce jeu est tout bonnement génial ! la narrration est excellente, on se plonge de suite dans l'histoire, les perosonnages sont bien travaillés, le gameplay est simple mais efficace, l'ambiance et les décors sont bon, la musique va très bien avec l'univers. Pour les joueurs qui n'aime pas les longs dialogue ou que la narration n'est pas leur fort dans les jeux vidéos, il peut ne pas plaire, pour le reste c'est du pain benit ! D'ailleurs c'est grâce à ce jeu que je me suis plongé dans l'univers the witcher et lu les livres de sapkowski, que je conseil tout autant.

Meilleur jeu de tous les temps

Je suis à plus de 800h et je continue d'y jouer avec passion, ce jeu est une merveille, l'histoire est géniale, les personnages sont tous bien écrit, attachant et ont un vrai role dans l'aventure. Les graphismes sont superbes et encore plus grace aux mods de la communauté. La musique est exceptionnelle, l'ambiance, les choix parfois difficiles... Merci CD projekt pour ce bijou. Une leçon pour tous les studios qui devraient s'en inspirer.
