The Gold Standard for RPGs.
I've played this game for 250+ hours on PS4, and I can safely say its the best RPG I've ever played. The Witcher 3 truly presents you with a great deal of choice and consequence; and the effects of those choices are consistently felt rippling through the narrative. I care about the characters, I enjoy the gameplay and I love the world, The Witcher 3 gets so much right that its actually borderline ridiculous. If you haven't played this game yet and love RPGs, you owe it to yourself to play through this magical journey.

The Witcher 3 GOTY Edition
This game is love. My story with this game is take strange, back when I was in college and had plenty of time on my hands I wanted to do something to kill time. Drugs and girls weren't an option so I thought of gaming. Being totally new to the entire gaming industry I didn't really know where to start. I was coming from the anime world and isekai was what I wanted to be and Guild Wars 2 was my first ever game on an i5 4th Gen integrated laptop. When that didn't really help me get away from boredom I started searching for something more, so I entered Medieval Fantasy Games In Google and this showed up, the cover showed Ciri and geralt (didn't know then back then) but I was impressed. I also read somewhere it had romance so I asked my bro to buy it and let me play on his laptop. Back then it was still a potato pc so I was playing on low. But the graphics were out of the world still. Amazing, I fell in love and started reading more and more on it When I found Ciri I stopped and said I'll finish it only after I get an actual PC. Got it last year and man was it a blast, even after I finished the main quests and DLCs. I still roamed around playing side quests for 10s of hours. Amazing, its that love that made me buy it now that I can finally afford buying games myself. And believe me, even now the songs alone are worth more then the 10 USD I paid.

Next gen update killed good old game
Original Witcher 3 is perfect game, but what the hell is that next gen update? I did some tests and original game on ultra looks the same or even better and you have triple FPS than in "next gen version." Roll back option is good, but I wish they added old gen too store as extra standalone game, because this update is really not wanted, it looks the same, except slightly different lighting in far distance, I am not saying better, just differnt, it looks generally the same, but with 1/3 FPS. Only support of DLSS is saving it, but even with DLSS on performance, you still have less FPS than in original game which looks the same on ultra. I believe that this update was not done by CD Project, but more like some externam studio. Why they just didn't add DLSS support to original game? That would be perfect, you could have like 120+ FPS in 4K.
