great after updating my graphics card !

CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS!!! first off: I had crashing problems to the point the game was unplayable with lots of bugs I updated my graphics card and was able to play smoothly on high and much less crashes and bugs so far I have experienced minor bugs and two crashes after long hours of playtime, my Boyfriend played this game on GeForce Now with everything set on max with one crash, both of our hands are not capable with the keyboard and mouse controls that are set up so we both use xbox controllers, so if the controls on keyboard and mouse aren't for you get a cheap xbox controller and call it a day. Gameplay: I didn't go into this game like many fans of CD Projekt Red with expectations, no I went in blind with a few things my boyfriend told me about, he got it on the tenth and live streamed it same day with the use of GeForce Now, the gameplay I have seen up to now is great, at some points getting close to my monitor! From the main story to the side quests theirs things to do while exploring, hell one of my favorites was finding all the tarot graffiti it was a laid back drive to location side quest that does not require mayhem. The romance very limiting here's the rundown Meredith Stout one nightstand bisexual, Judy is Lesbian, Panam is straight male only, River is straight female only, Kerry is gay there is more but I will not spoil that, only minor spoilers here! I really enjoyed doing the races they are really fun! from racing trough a street one moment to racing trough a sandstorm the next. There is one or two things that lets me down tough is the difficulty of the gangs some goons are much harder then others some taking you out with a single shot and some tickling you in comparison, and lack of content that sould be there but not but thats on its way overall: this game is well worth the 4/5 stars and I will up it to the 5/5 stars once they polish it a bit more and add in the content that was supposed to be in the game but was cut out.

Brought me back to when games were deep

It was from the time of Mass Effect that i didnt grew affected to fictional characters, cyberpunk brought back to those times and awakened some sentiments in my cold heart, thanks

Not as expected but still, very good!

The game is not as revolutionary as expected but still, it is a fine game and a great piece of art. Driving model, shooting, quests - all good. You've seen very similar solutions in Elder Scrolls, GTA or Witcher games. Slightly disappointed in very low NPC interactivity. Even pseudo-random discussion dialogs (Morrowind-style) would add a lot to the overall atmosphere. Hoping for a mod to come! There are glitches but I don't care. Acceptable/good with high settings on a cheap Lenovo Legion Y540/i5/16GB/GTX1650. I too experienced CTD. These were not caused by the game itself but by lack of SSD drive software installed (portable SSD by Samsung). Installed, no more crashes (maybe once or twice). Don't blame the game every time!! Recommended.

excellent game with horrible management

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world shooter/RPG, where you can explore most of the city, parkouring around rooftops and doing your utmost to get into places. Not every flat is accessible (which I guess is due to memory constraints), but every flat you can access feels lived in. The things the game excels in are the exploration, graphics and story (not ordered in terms of importance, just want to give the review some progression). The exploration in itself is excellent and in 98% of the times - if you can look inside a room, you can enter it. Sometimes that means finding your way to the roof to pry open a door which is not really obvious, other times that is as easy as pressing "use" when the "open" prompt appears. You can choose to either jump around rooftops, walk the streets or drive. You can set up how crowded the streets are, so if crowds are not your thing ... You can further own several vehicles you can select at any time, though they may not reach you EVERYWHERE (there ARE caves you know. :-)) The graphics can be just ... gorgeous, with god rays piercing the steam rising from manholes, sun reflecting off of surfaces dynamically and shadows moving as time passes by. The characters also look VERY nice. However - unless you have a high-end machine, the deeper details may not populate for you, thus I'll leave it here - it's just pretty. :-) The story is ... cruel. In the very start you are told that Night City is where dreams come to die, and that is pretty much the tone of the entire story. Saying much more would be a spoiler, suffice it to say it is emotional and impactful. The problem is, that the game WAS released sooner than it should have been - many things we take for granted nowadays (water physics for one) are simply not present and lots of content also is not present yet, with the managers promising to add it later. If this is a problem to you, I advise waiting a year or so before buying, but as the game stands - there still is LOADS of things you can do.

Disappointment, but still above average

This game is a massive disappointment to many people in terms of what had been promised and what was delivered at launch, but it is a fun experience to be had nonetheless. The exquisite world-building, deep lore, and memorable and well-voiced characters are the strongest points. Some of the lackluster game mechanics are sadly not likely to be improved on. The different "life paths" that used to be the game's selling point is just a short prologue section. The simplistic police warrant system is no match against the sophisticated bounty systems seen in RDR2 and GTA5. Vehicles can't be modified, unlike in GTAV. On the plus side, the role-playing system is fairly comprehensive: melee, gun, hacking, lockpicking, crafting, stealth. Cyberwares are fun to use, such as mantis blades and mass vulnerability. There are tons of weapons, and auto-targeting smart guns are fun to use. Besides the main quest and the main companion quests, which are the game's strong points, there are also tons of side quests and gigs. I've put in 200 hours and still haven't finished all the gigs. In time, we may a little more forgiving towards this game.
